I have a Vintage Yamaha MX-2 Stereo Power Amplifier rated at 150 Watts per channel at 8 ohms made in Japan. It is in mint condition. It comes with the original box and packaging. This was my personal I have used for about 6 months. When I got it, I think it was never used and if so, not very much. Not a mark on it. I recently upgraded to a more powerful otherwise I would keep it. It sounds awesome. Everything works perfectly. It is very heavy. It is about 43 lbs. Price is $500.00. It is not your usual run of the mill stereo but a pretty high tech unit with some interesting engineering behind it. Like its own Hyperbolic Conversion Amplification HCA which is suppose to be better than Class A but with less heat generated and less distortion. It also has an Advanced Power Supply APS which provided a very steady and constant voltage to its circuitry. All these play into a pretty neutral and transparent sound with abundant power reserve to drive just about any speakers. The can dip down to 2 ohms when required and at that level, it puts out 230W per channel. In 8 and 4 ohms, it will put out 150W and 190W respectively.
