Hello, this is a MIL unit in my home, my father used to live here, sometimes he needs to move back in, so I am willing to rent this weekly, or short term-month to month. There is a really good chance he wont return any time soon, but I need to be able to move him in within a month or two notice. I am getting dozens of emails about this place, it is really hard to keep up with them. This particular unit needs some some trim and other minor aesthetic considerations but it is priced accordingly. I would hate for someone to be even a little disappointed in the space or their experience here. This is a comfy space, but not a luxury hotel. Everybody has great things to say about the neighborhood and me as a host. My partner, myself, and our cat live in the main unit.Some parts, such as the kitchen, and the newly installed shower are high end, other parts could use a little work. Basically it is kitchen, a sitting area, and a separate bedroom, and a really nice, quiet, private deck. The deck is like an oasis in the city. Like I said before,there may be some spots missing trim, and the outside of the house just got a paint job. If all those little details were taken care of, I would charge more.Funky decor Eclectic custom tile job everywhere, with granite counter tops. This is a place for folks on a budget that are more concerned with exploring the city than staying in. Basic Cable TV, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, internet.My place is close to Smith, the Hopvine, Liberty, Canterbury, Safeway and QFC grocery stores, The Broadway light rail station, and a half a block from 3 major bus stops.If you like live music, you are a 10 min walk from Nuemoes, The Comet, The Unicorn, and Chop Suey. Also a 10 min walk from The Cuff, Wild Rose, and a host of other gay bars. Lots of other amazing restaurants, it is also a great place to stay if you are in town for work.5 Min walk to Group Health.Youll love my place because of the location, Capitol Hill is amazing. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.Guest accessThis apartment has a private, windy, entrance on the side of the house, with a private bedroom, kitchen, deck and bath. Its all yours There is a keypad and a code, 247 access and check in.Other things to noteThere are a few narrow windy steps up to the unit, and it is in the back,so this place is not really suitable for folks that may have trouble navigating steps. You must be active and spry Main entry to unit is 24 wide, and opens directly to steps. It can be a bit difficult to bring big bags down.My man cave is next to your bedroom, and although I did my best to soundproof the place, I tend to yell at the tv during football games. Also, your bedroom is directly below mine.I have a shop in the back. I dont work crazy late or early hours out there, The bathroom shares a wall with my other shop, and the kitchen shares a wall and a locked door with the laundry room.This is a no smoking unit.
