So we put in a reinforced inner structure that looks like the factory steel hoods to strengthen it.Chopper gun fiberglass is cheaper, but doesnt leave a nice finish. Hand laid is stronger and smoother, but more expensive. We decided to mix the two, with the last layer being hand laid. Our kits have a stronger, cleaner underside, and we are able to keep the price point in between the two different methods of laying fiberglass.
