Description

I am selling a unique and very portable bass rig that I have not used for years. I put this together in the 90s to have a small, but high quality and versatile rig for playing fretless bass. I was seeking lots of clean tone and good high end. The rig includes a rack-mounted Carver stereo power , a fantastic vintage yamaha bass pre, as well as a great 2x10 Hartke cabinet that I purchased for $500 new in 1989 I still have the receipt from First Bass on Broadway. The power is a Carver PM200 2-channel stereo commercial-grade 100watts into 8 ohms, it has 14 and XLR inputs, and you can download the manual on the internet. The pre is vintage and still a great pre-- a Yamaha PB-1. It has parametric EQ and bi-ing outputs. And the Hartke 210 cabinet sells for $200-250 Ive had offers to buy only it, but prefer to sell as a lot, the vintage PB-1 for $200-250 and the Carver for $200. And the rack, carrying case with handle, and the cables, including banana-plugs, are also included. Hartke still makes great cabinets, and they were bought out by Samson, and this is one of the first made of the 210XL series. This original cabinet is 200w 8ohms and has 2 10 XL aluminum-cone bass drivers with 60oz magnets and 50 Hz To 5 kHz frequency response.I powered this up and everything still works fine. OK, its old school. It really does not matter that it is vintage 80s-- this stuff still delivers, and this is actually quite a bargain for the vintage enthusiast.Back in the day, I would run a 2nd cabinet a 1x15 and run it with the stereo . There are several ways you can configure-- including bridging it. It is fairly easy to drive more than the 2x10 cab with this much power. This is a great rig, I just cannot see myself using it again.
