I purchased this in 1984 or 1985 at a new Wave Boutique Store to the tune of $200. I remember thinking or not thinking, damn this is expensive for what is going to be a temporary fashion moment. Anyway.. It was in and I was really into New Wave Music. So I kept it because I thought it would make a great costume somewhere down the line in time.
