Up for sale is my 1983 Catalina 30 with the Universal 30hp diesel motor. I have owned this boat for almost six years. It had a lot of upgrades when I bought it and I have done a lot of upgrades as well. It runs great and sails great. Totally turn key. Immaculate interior. Hull is in great shape. Just buffed recently. Bottom paint is still good. Topside could use paint, but it is ok. I was planing on taking this boat to La Paz with the Baja HaHa, but my plans have changed. I have the gas line run to the aft of the boat and I have the propane tank, but I never got the right fittings to put it all together.It has a solar panel mounted, but I never got to buy the solar charge controller to hook up to the batteries.The motor needs the seal replaced in the impellor. Very easy fix. It drips water when the boat is running, but does not affect the function of the boat at all.I restrung the wire for the curtains and I have the material for them, but I never got the panels made.The masthead light is out.Thats about itLooking for $30,000. I am open to offers. This is really an amazing boat and I have thoroughly enjoyed owning it all these years. It is clean, comfortable, and just the right size. Im 6 and I can stand upright and fit in all the sleeping areas. Easy to single-hand.
