I put a new factory built transmission paid $2500.00 for transmission in this vehicle after the original transmission quit working.This vehicle has a good strong motor in it and I reasoned I would be able to drive it for many years to come. Less than two weeks after getting the van back with the new transmission a storm broke off a couple of trees near my driveway and one landed squarely on my van. As you can see it did extensive damage. Im trying to recoup some of my money and am hoping someone will buy the van for parts. If you need a Ford Freestar transmission this one is new and will be considerably cheaper than buying a new one elsewhere and as I said the van has a good strong motor to boot. In addition the tires on the van are in very good shape with minimal wear. I dont want to sell parts off of the van so if youre interested in any one part its all or nothing.
