Most Sea Pearls are leeboard monohulls but in 1993 Marine Concepts developed the tri with side decks, a large center cockpit, larger sails plus folding amas and produced a fast, stable, easy trailering, shallow water beach cruiser. Amas fold in for docking. Its a cat ketch and the 2 stayless carbon fiber masts pivot on aluminum tabernacles that fold down for travel. Unlike the sleeve mounted roll up sails on some tris this one has larger full batten, slide mounted sails with lazy jacks just like big sister SP 28. Much faster to dump sails in an emergency Comes with a center cockpit canvas cabin plus a larger dome tent fitted to give standing headroom for c cruising. Rear cockpit is self draining. Has a Bruce anchor and factory anchoring package. The boat sat in storage for 9 years so after we got it I replaced the HD polyethylene ama pivots, all the lines are new, all wood varnished, rebuilt motor mount and built new mast crutches. I added a battery so the boat can be used with a trolling motor. The 3 hp 2 cycle outboard has been overhauled and impeller replaced.
