My 2004 Parker 2520 XL is a fishing machine. I repowered it in June, 2023 with twin Yamaha 250s via WestCoast Marine SD. The boat has a top speed of 41kts. With upgraded trim tabs and seaspension seating, the boat rides well and can cruise at 23kts during rougher conditions without breaking your back. For safety, there is an EPIRB on board and fire extinguisher.It has full Simrad Electronics throughout. In the pilothouse, you have a NSS Evo 3S in 9and 7 Evo 2 display. I have the bigger one in front of you and the smaller one overhead by the radio. It also has a 12 Simrad Evo 2 in the tower with full power, radio, music, and steering. I upgraded the speakers. And, I upgraded the Fusion stereo system so that they integrate with the Simrads throughout. The autopilot works perfectly and is very helpful when going offshore. It also has a Simrad 4g Radar that has been very useful when crossing the channel in fog or lobster fishing at night. While the engines are mechanical, it has electronic throttle control in the cabin and on the tuna tower. It also has a new Lewmar FishPro 1000 windlass with a breaker behind the captains seat in the pilot house. It also has a 100 gallon custom bait tank with lid and rod holders. The bait tank pump has also been upgraded and replaced. I have no problem with four scoops and the bait is healthy and lively. It is equipped with 31 rod holders on the boat. I really like how the rocket launchers are positioned on the side of the tower when fishing from the bow. The electrical and charging system has been fully redone by WestCoast Marine SD and there are five batteries on board. Two batteries for the engines and three in the pilot house. You will always get home safe. There is a custom collapsible tower with a roof. Perfect for flying the kite or finding breezers. The bracket is custom built for the engines and it has a ladder on the swimstep. The boat has been detailed and is ready for sale. I still fish it every Sunday and its on a mooring near the mouth of Newport Beach Harbor non-transferable. Cashiers check for $135k needed for sea trial.
