This could be a special find out of the time capsule for any home theater enthusiast who knows what these can do. I bought this years ago hoping to eventually set up in a movie room, never unpacked it, now relocating and have to let it go.The 9500LC ranks among the top two or three reference grade CRT projectors ever made, with a dynamic range and image depth that surpassed most of the newer compact imager designs for years. Same technology used for commercial and command center use, high level home theaters, flight simulators... typically $30,000 - $40,000 new.This unit had various custom modifications including color corrected optics, high performance electromagnetic targeting yokes, upgraded cooling system, other details I probably dont remember. The only one like this Ive ever found. I dont really have a way to test or install it at this point. I attempted to power up in the case and see on-screen menu light up on the tubes through the lenses, but it shut itself down shortly after and I cant power it back up currently. Next owner will have to sort that out.This is not a simple plug-and-play projector. Its a large device that requires hours of detailed adjustment and calibration to install properly. Youll need a truck for pickup. Also including the original Electrohome rolling transport case foam padding has deteriorated but still usable.
