The Nakamichi BX-1 has 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, memory stop, manual tape type selection and is capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes with additional manual equalization selection, belt driven single-capstan transport.BX-1 level meters are digital LED peak reading meters. It has a full-logic transport control that responds to the slightest finger contact. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. The switchable MPX filter out the FM Broadcast pilot signal and assuring proper Dolby processing of FM stereo programs.
