I have 2 Mercury 9.9 engines 2 stroke Short shaft and a 3 Galion gas tank Pictured are both. The left needs some Carb adjustments and as you can see a impeller kit about $27.00. And a Kill switch. The lower unit goes with the older 9.9 but as you can see it is not attached. While I was having the 9.9 the one with the red stripes all new electronics in it. I was in the OBX and we wanted to get on the water. The lower unit that is attached to the older engine belongs to the newer 9.9 with the red stripes that has had all electronics redone. It just needs to be taken off the older 9.9 that needs some work and put on the newer Red Stripes Engine. I Just dont have a engine mount to replace the lower units to the correct engines. If you have a engine mount you know how to exchange the lower unit on old to new Red Stripes you will have a complete running engine. If you want you can fix older unit with white long Handel and have it running or use or sell for spare parts. I sold John boat and trailer and now just dont have time to fool with them and are no longer needed.DO NOT SEND ME EMAILS ETC. ONLY SERIOUS INTRESTED PARTIES ONLY
