This table is from one solid tree, not multiple pieces joined together. 2 thick top solid hardwood. Sealed on all sides. It comes with brushed metal bases. Beautiful natural wood swirls in the wood grains and it is sealed with a natural clear satin clear coat. The clear coat is very durable and is maintenance free..its okay to have water on the table or other liquids..its family friendly and will not create water rings etc like a wax table.
