The Dura-Haul 7x22 166 14k Tilt Deck trailers are one of the best-looking split deck tilts on the market With their two-piece 2x6 C-Channel stacked frame cuts away unnecessary weight from using old fashioned heavy I-beam, providing maximum support for all load types. The deck is supported by a 3-inch channel with 16-inch on center crossmembers. Dura-Hauls standard tilt has an overall deck length of 22 feet that consists of a 6-foot stationary deck and a 16-foot tilting bed. The deck width is 83 inches, even between the fenders, if thats not enough room you can remove the fenders to gain a few more inches. The fenders are diamond plated steel and sit 7 inches above the deck. On the stationary piece of the bed, you will find a winch plate and a 9-inch-tall bump rail. Down each side of the trailer, you will have 4 D-rings and 7 stake pockets, which are protected by a rub rail. The knife edge on the rear end of the tilt is 2-feet long and is also diamond plated steel. The tilts are fitted with the same tandem 7k Rockwell axles on a multi-leaf spring suspension with an equalizer and EZ lube fittings. Dura-Haul uses a spring-loaded pin as the locking mechanism on the tilt bed. They also use a hydraulic dening cylinder with a valve to make loading and unloading safer and more secure. Dura-Haul tilts will come standard with LED lights, a spare tire mount, adjustable coupler, 12k side wind jack with a spring-loaded adjustable foot, and 10 ply radial tires. All said and done the 22-foot tilt weighs in at only 3,616 lbs, which gives you a payload capacity of 10,384 lbs.
