It is a part of a beautiful house.Outside of the private entrance, youll find a Jacuzzi great for enjoying the sunsets over the ocean as well as two chairs, to enjoy the privacy and environment watch for whales or read that book youve been putting off. Its very quiet, with the soft and gentle, but unmistakable sound of the surf below you. In the back are hiking and biking trails extending for miles into the unpopulated California and Oregon wilderness with redwood, fir, tan oak and spruce forests. The beach is accessible by a 5-minute drive below the property. There are opportunities for beachcombing where we actually find agates. You can collect mussels or crabs and cook them for dinner. You can venture to our many redwoods, or two Redwood State Parks located 13 and18 miles to the south. There are redwoods over 320 feet tall. Also, the famous Rouge River with jet boat rides and great fishing in Gold Beach 40 minutes away. If you want to relax and get away from the stress and too many people and cars, this rental is for you. We are 9 miles to Brookings, Oregon where there are great restaurants, shopping, The Port, beachcombing, wind surfing, and hundreds of hiking trails viewing the ocean and the redwoods. We have 4 rivers locally, they are the Rogue, Winchuck, Smith River and the Chetco.This location is perfect for a person who needs to be able to work.
