2001 Yamaha LS2000 twin engine jet boat. $7,500.The engines are two cycle and each produced 135 HP when new 270 HP total. One of the engines was replaced with a rebuilt engine about three years ago.For its age, its in good condition. But, there are a few things that dont work as desired.1The engines start hard if its not been ran in a few days. I believe it just takes a while for the gas to pump up to the carbs. So, we keep starter fluid on the boat and use it from time to time when needed. But, once running and warmed up, both engines run great. Top speed around 50 MPH.2One of the tachs doesnt work most of the time. From time to time it will suddenly start working, but most of the time it doesnt.3I dont think the radio works, but Ive never really tried to see why. Ohio law - Persons born on or after January 1, 1982 who operate a boat in Ohio powered by more than 10 horsepower must provide proof of boater education. Therefore, anyone born in 1982 or after cant test drive my boat unless you can prove you have completed the training and passed the test. However, I can still take you out and show you how it runs with me driving.Also, anyone I take out must wear a life preserver at all times on the boat I have ones I can loan you.
