1998 Cobalt 200. all fiberglass and Kevlar hulltransom construction. No wood to worry about Merc 5.0 EFI and Bravo 1 drive. Boat is super clean, a few bumps, bruises and cosmetic gelcoat cracks and blisters, but all cosmetic and easy DIY repairs if you want to. Nothing excessive for a boat this age. Excluding the sunpad, the interior is really good. Not perfect, but super clean and shows well. Sunpad could use upholstery work. Engine runs perfect and the the boat is fast with plenty of torque Trailer was completely rehabbed with new everything. Wheels, tires, LED lights are all newer. Matching snap on mooring cover and bimini top - All good condition.OK - so, why is this Cobalt much cheaper than the others you see After a week on Mullett Lake, I noticed a slight vibrationgrowl at very low RPM when trimmed down. Everything operated perfect and the boat ran perfect all week however, I brought the boat in for inspection. In short, the upper gearcase needs a replacement or rebuild. I didnt know this when i bought the boat and i really dont need another project right now. So... Boat For Sale FYI - Boat was just winterized last week.Trades - I like fast cars, muscle cars, diesel trucks, cool trucks, diesel tractors. Really i just prefer cash, but you can try me. Worst i can say is no.
