1987 MacGregor D model 26 feet long with a Johnson 8HP outboard motor. Racercruiser in good shape with a new Mainsail, near new Genoa and a good working jib, a Spinnaker and a near new Storm sail. All sails have sailbags for safe and efficient storage The boat has water ballast and a 5 foot, fully retractable centerboard so it is very stable and yet easy to tow on the factory trailer which has new tires. The cabin has the raiseable cover to enable you to stand in the cabin while making meals and that cover also has a near new Bimini with windows for hot day sailing. There are 2 custom made screens for the forward hatch and companionway to keep out mosquitos and black flies. The boat has a swim ladder, the original Owners Manual a King-sized Captains berth in the stern as well as a V-berth in the bow that is comfortable for 2 adults. The head has curtains for privacy, there is a sink and a food preparaton area although because it is a racer there is no stove, Ive always used a Coleman stove and it also has a gas BBQ grill that attaches to the railing. There are some decorative custom made cushions for the cockpit and 6 adult life jackets and 2 child-sized life jackets.
