Description

Up for sale is our 1983 Starcraft 16 aluminum open bow boat, with 85hp Evinrude, and a Shorelandr full-roller trailer. It is an older boat, but very solid, stored inside, and it has the followingFull canvas top with zip-out sideback windows, and the ceiling rolls back to allow easy access to the flip-open windshield. The running lights all work, as does the horn, Ritchie compasslight, and bilge pump. The transom is solid, and it has twin back-to-back seats in the main area, and then the open bow portion. The paint is decent, and no major dents, or damage repair. It has new registration numbersletters, and current MN tabs good through 2024.It has storage areas on the sides, a paddle, and an anchor. The motor is an 85hp V4, with stainless steel prop, has good even compression, and has had some work done in the past year--new stator, pickup coil, starter, solenoid, and the carbs were recently cleaned, and it got new spark plugs, and a new power pack. Lower unit lube is changed each spring, and it has a 6 gallon fuel tank. It has a nice aluminum CMC tilttrim assembly, with a new dash-mounted switch. Will throw in a similar year 115 Evinrude parts motor, with a good lower unit. Turns over nice, but has one bad piston. Has tilttrim as well. The trailer is a heavy duty Shorelandr full roller. The tires are like new, and it comes with a good spare that is mounted on the trailer. It has new bearingssealsgreaseable bearing caps on both sides, it has a new bow roller, the winch and tongue jack work as they should, as do the lights. It has a transom saver, all new marker lights, new reflectors, and the inner fender carpet is new as well. It tows nice down the road. The boat is built very well, and handles well, even in bigger water. The steering is smooth, and it is greased regularly. The floor is solid, it has a locker in the floor, and no crackedbroken glass. If you are looking for a solid, reasonably priced boat, that has a few blemishes, then this one is worth a look. Not perfect, as it is a 1983, and shows some fading, scuffs, etc., but a lot of boat for the money.Only selling as we picked up a little newer glastron, and a separate fishing boat.Feel free to email with any questions, and I will try to get some pictures up in the next day or two. Thanks for looking.key words fishing boat aluminum lund alumacraft deep v trailer outboard motor two stroke evinrude mercury johnson nissan tohatsu mariner
