John Deacan, the bassist for the band Queen, is probably the most famous user of the Fender Precision Special. This bass is lake placid blue but the color has aged nicely over time and now looks more like the color of mermaids tail. The bass has active electronics but can also be used as a passive bass. There are a few dings but most of the wear came from a chemical reaction to the inside of the case where it has sat for many years. The gold hardware has tarnished over time as they did on these basses. This bass is a real relic. bass has a fresh set of gold LaBella Flatwound strings. This bass comes with the original case which is nothing to write home about. The case is missing the handle and is in pretty poor shape.
