This custom Fenwick SH 962 was made in 1981 as the custom rod builder has put the date and his name and address on the rod. Two piece, 83, equal lengths, nothing looks broken and looks original. The rod is in excellent mechanical shape for guides, wraps, ferrule connection, and reel seat. The detail on the wraps just above the handle is amazing, and the rod itself has a very nice appearance with only a minor spec or light sign of any use. The metal real seat shows a scratch on the lower and upper cling rings and the cork does show a little staining. This very nice rod would be great for steelhead fishing and is definitely a keeper.
