1977 Bertram Sport Cruiser This is a solid boat that has had many upgrades over the years. The exterior is showing her age but still polishes up with compound and wax. The interior is in excellent condition with custom floors and Corian counter tops. V-Berth cushions were reupholstered recently. The head has a new Raritan electric toilet with Electroscan treatment system. The freshwater system has a new pump with an electric hot water heater and heat exchanger from the Port Engine. Cruise Air Heat and AC is dated but works well and has a new control panel. Dual voltage refrigeratorfreezer works perfectly with a new thermostat installed this year. Kenwood stereo with Aux and Bluetooth.The engines are Crusader 454s with matching brand new marine Quadrajet carbs electric chokes. Port Engine just had a complete rebuild with less than 10 hours. Starboard just had a complete top end new cam shaft, heads machined and rebuilt, valves, rods, rockers, etc. new distributer, alternator and starter just installed. Dripless shaft seals. New Faria engine gages installed this year. Older electronic tach with synchronizer works perfectly. Three blade propellers were pulled, tuned, and balanced by Big Rock Propellers of MHC last year. There is also a set of four blade props that will go with the boat as well. Westerbeke 5.8 kW Generator with remote start is NEW $6500 with zero hours. A new USCG certified aluminum was fabricated by Carr Enterpises of St. Petersburg, FL and installed last year. During the installation the generator was removed to protect it from the elements and needs to be reinstalled. She cruises comfortably at 20 knots. Teak swim platform with stainless hideaway boarding ladder. Lee outriggers. The electronics are dated but function Furuno Radar, DepthFish Finder and GPS Plotter. Standard Horizon VHF with hailer is new. Wolo Marine electric horns very loud are new. Electric anchor windlass is older but works flawlessly. Two Danforth anchors with chain and rode. Remote controlled spotlight. Flybridge canvas is older but serviceable bimini and three-sided enclosure. The bimini needs to be replaced but can be used as a pattern. New sun cover for windshield 2022. The boat is located in the New Bern area and can be seen by appointment only. No low-ball offers will be considered.
