She is economical to run yes I said that, its actually in the mile and under per gallon. And not the gallons per mile. And plenty of power if and when needed. From the twin 3208 Caterpillars. Each being turbo-charged with inter-cooler giving 375hp each Very low hoursunder 100. She will do everything her big brothers do. Without the need for crew. And a lot cheaper for berthing. Boats are measured differently now. She is 36 for marina purposes. But when next to a newer boat she would be classed as a 40 footer. With the bow sprit and swim platform. So 36 for Marinas and a 40 footer for friends and familyThe boat has been well maintained and refurbished during my ownership. The parts replaced have hardly been used. And although some may be several years old. They are like new. Of course being a boat a lot of this is routine. When I bought it, it had new batteries. I replaced them about 4 years ago. And they will need replacing again If I fit new batteries there is no warranty. If you get them fitted. You get a warranty. The Generator Westerbeke 8BTD was also removed. There isa remanufactured one on ebay for $7,900. And plenty of used ones. I made the decision not to replace. Its not just the expense. Its the warranty, you buy and you get a warranty. If you need one Shore power works fine. And if under way, how much time will you spend below decksThe AC also needslooking at.
