Up for sale is our 1975 28-foot Bertram flybridge Cruiser. This classic boat is considered by many as one of the finest small sport fisherman boats ever made. It is known for its soft ride and sea keeping ability. It is well suited for family trips and offshore fishing. The boat has an 11-foot beam for a stable ride. The boat has been in our family for almost 20 years but it is time to move on.We repowered the boat with 2 BRAND NEW Mercruiser replacement Vortec, 5.7L 325 hp fresh water-cooled engines. The engines have 210 verified hours on them. We replaced the manifolds and risers several years ago as preventative maintenance.The boat has been maintained by a professional mechanic. Oil changes and all other maintenance has been performed as required. The engines start easily and run strong. When the engines were replaced, the transmissions and coolers were rebuilt. New stainless steel prop shafts, new cutlass bearings, and dripless shaft seals were installed. Included are 2 spare re-conditioned props.When we replaced the engines, we also had a custom 165-gallon fuel tank fabricated and installed.
