1970 Chrysler New Yorker 2dr Hardtop One Owner car with just 37700 miles. This New Yorker is another fine example of a Fiore Motors kind of car. A low mileage big cruiser with loads of originality and incredible documentation. This car is a completely original and unrestored classic with the exception of a high quality repaint in its original Crimson Red back in the 90s. You will not believe the condition of this car today. The paint looks as if it was done a year ago. The chrome and all trim is nearly as good as new although the rear bumper has a very small circular ding on he drivers side towards the bottom just below and to the right of the taillight. The vinyl top is original and perfect. There is no bubbling under or behind the vinyl top by the rear glass where water tends to settle and cause rust. Not on this car. The interior is 100 original and virtually flawless. Most importantly, it still has its original 440ci, 350hp engine and drive train. Even the factory Holley 4bbl carb is original but has been rebuilt at some point. All Original documentation is still with this big classic including the Invoice bill of sale, window sticker, loan receipt, owners manual warranty info, Fairly rare with only 4900 2-door New Yorkers produced in 1970, this car was not cheap tipping the scale at over 6000 with all its many options included. Thats Cadillac territory According to the original bill of sale, the original owner Mrs. Lulu Belle Harrah made herself quite a deal at the dealership and paid a flat 5000 for her car. Mrs. Lulu Belle originally bought this car for herself in Youngstown Ohio and immediately moved to Florida where she remained until her passing in 1995. On several occasions, she drove this car to see her son and family who remained in Ohio and still lives there today. After her passing, this Chrysler went to her son as part of her estate. He basically kept it garaged and unused from that time on until Fiore Motors purchased it just this past summer, 2017. After alittle fixin from decades of little use, the car is ready for its next appreciative owner. The engine runs beautifully and why wouldnt it With just 37700 actual miles, its basically still new. The car drives down the road smoothly, quietly and effortlessly. There are no rattles or unwanted noises, no pulling to either side and she is very comfortable on the road as any boat size Chrysler should be. Suspension is tight as well. The interior is immaculate and again, 100 original. This highly optioned car has it all and everything works as it should except the clock.
