Overview Up for sale is a beautiful plein air oil painting on canvas board, depicting a Mountain lake scene. The painting is undated, unsigned and untitled, but I acquired this with two other companion pieces by the same artist, one of which was signed Norman and depicted Lake Tahoe. Based on that, I believe this is a CaliforniaNevada landscape scene. I love the mix of forest and desert in this piece and the really moody clouds and mountain in the background. It is undated, but I would confidently date this to around the 1950s, based on style and wear. Painting is unframed.
