This boat is without question one of the finest built flats skiffs ever made. It has ALWAYS been covered and although it is nearly 30 years old it looks nearly new. The boat was custom built for Capt. Denis Quilligan from Ta Bay Charter Fishing although the skipper only used the boat comercially for 2 seasons guiding fly fishing anglers for giant tarpon on the world famous flats at Homosassa Springs, Florida. The captain then moved his charters to offshore fishing aboard a Parker Pilot House 26 foot boat fishing 6 anglers with a mate aboard. The flats skiff became his personal fishing rig. After a trematic back injury from a pedestrian hit and run vehicular accident the captain was forced to retire from fishing comercially. He and his wife now reside in Shark River Hills in Neptune, NJ. The boat has followed the captain in his travels. Now at age 77 he is going to part with this awesome craft. This skiff features a self draining cockpit. It is unsinkable and self righting.
