Our C3 is powered by the original numbers matching L48 350CI V8 engine mated to the numbers matching Turbo Hydra-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission. The L48 engine is described as the best balanced engine option offered in 1974 and has a 6.8 second 0 to 60 time which is quite impressive for the early 70s and is very close to the LS4 big block engine offered that year. The small-block V8 has been upgraded with many performance parts such as aluminum intake manifold, high performance 4bbl carburetor, headers, performance plug wires as well as new chrome valve covers and air cleaner giving it the power it should have. This Corvette is also equipped with power steering, power brakes with front disc, power windows, Astro Ventilation, removable T Top roof panels, tilt steering column, bucket seats with center console, AM FM stereo, dual exhaust, luggage rack, and correct rally wheels wrapped in Performer GT Radial tires. 1974 was the first year for urethane bumpers front and rear whitch was gives the car a more molded shape, saves weight over the chrome bumpers and makes the vehicle more impact resistant.
